Well, we made it back from our Big Outdoor Spring Break Family Fun Camping Adventure!!! We all survived the trip, and we even managed to have tons of fun in the process. We went camping with 2 other families, so there was a total of 14 people (6 adults plus 8 kids). We camped at our friend's (Mandy and Kasey) family farm. Their family owns 60+ acres with a pond. At night, it was amazing to see all of the stars in the sky. And in the morning, tons of beautiful birds woke us up to the sound of their magnifiscently orchestrated songs. They have a cabin there, but we all slept in tents at night. But that cabin sure did come in handy during the day for showers and cooking! And it was beautiful too. It truly was a memorable trip, and we hope to be able to do it again next year. Hope you all enjoy the pictures. And please leave comments on here. We'd love to hear from everyone!
Our home away from home (aka, the family tent)...
The front porch of the cabin.
Samuel and I were just relaxing on the porch while the men got everything situated.

Inside the cabin.
The pond, just outside the cabin in the back. I loved these windows!
Looking out at the pond, from inside the cabin.

Avery caught her first fish! And then she proceeded to catch 14 more... She caught the most fish, by far, of anyone there.

Samuel caught 8 fish.
Even I got to share in the fun of catching fish! The other fish I caught was around a 20 pound bass, but the camera batteries were dead. By the way, I'm joking about that bass....
The boys played a game of baseball. Samuel got good at hitting the ball. He was getting frustrated at first, but he stuck with it and started hitting the ball a lot!
And then some of the girls decided to play a game of catch.
Some of the kids, playing on the tire swing.
The girls, posing by the tire swing. My friend Mandy is sitting on the tire swing, and her daughter Jami (6 yrs. old) is behind her. My friend Jennifer is wearing the red and white striped shirt, and that's her daughter Abby (10 yrs. old).
The boys just could not take a serious picture... Our friend Carl (married to Jennifer) is on the far left, then there's his son Nathan (8 yrs. old). After that is Samuel, striking quite a silly pose. Then there's Jackson (10 yrs. old) and Jace (8 yrs. old) is hidden (oops)... Their dad Kasey is wearing the ball cap. Then there's Isaac and Hector on the right.

And what a fire it was!
They had a golf cart, that we all got to drive around. The kids thought it was so much fun... Truth be told, so did the adults!

There's all the big kids! Wish it wouldn't have been so dark...

They had a huge sand pile. Isaac got Filthy, with a capital F!

My friend Jennifer's little boy Nathan. He was so good with Isaac. He held his hand while we were getting the camp fire going.
And what a fire it was!
Sitting around the camp fire, making smores.
Our friend Carl putting a hot marshmallow on Avery's smore.
