Update on Avery

Today I took Avery back to the ENT. Three weeks ago before the black wax was removed from her ears, she had a 35% hearing deficiency. This time, she had a 25% hearing deficiency, and she still has fluid in her ears. There was also more wax build up after only 3 weeks. The ENT strongly recommended that Avery have tubes put in her ears, and that she also have her adenoids removed. Fluid has been building up in her ears, causing excessive amounts of wax to form. This surgery should correct the problems she's been having, as well as correct the hearing loss that is being caused by the excessive amounts of fluid and wax in her ears. If she has the surgery, she shouldn't need a hearing aid. I have tentatively scheduled her surgery for January 2, but I intend to get more information on the subject before we go through with it.
