Counting Down The Days
Last night, as I was getting Samuel and Avery ready to go to bed, I told them that they had school again the next day. "Woo Hoo, it's your 2nd week of school!" They were not excited about that news at all, despite my enthusiastic tone. And then Avery asked me how many more weeks she has left of Kindergarten. Good question... Let's find out. I got out the calendar and we counted 36 1/2 more weeks of school, or 172 actual days left of school. Man, that made me feel a little less excited too! So, we decided to focus on a closer date, Christmas! Did you know there's only 16 1/2 more weeks, or 113 days before Christmas? Now, that's a date we can all get excited about!

I enjoyed catching up with your blog. I cant believe your garden is still growing! We have one tomato plant, no tomatos, but it is HUGE! Glad the kids are adjusting to school. Your school day countdown is depressing ... and the Christmas one makes me nervous...but it is a lot closer and a lot more fun! The pics of Isaac are so cute! How is he adjusting to being the "only child?" Amarie started day care today and did not do too well either. She did not nap at all and was boo-hooing when I picked her up! Praying tomorrow goes better. Can't wait to read what else the year has in store for the Acevedo children of Rowlett, Texas! Have a good week!
