I Am Truly Thankful

For my Heavenly Father up above,

Who sent his son Jesus, in the ultimate display of unmerited love.

I am truly thankful.

For my wonderful husband of 14 years who's never afraid to show,

That his love for me over the years only continues to grow.

I am truly thankful.

For my oldest son who reminds me each and every day,

That miracles do come true to those who pray.

I am truly thankful.

For my only little girl who takes such joy in life's simplest things,

Like baking cookies, painting toe nails, and having a song to sing.

I am truly thankful.

For my precious gift of laughter who is oh-so-very-sweet,

Who came into my life in such an exciting way, and somehow just made our family complete.

I am truly thankful.

For my church, my home, my health, for my friends and family,

And for the numerous other blessings in my life which mean the world to me.

I am truly thankful.
