I went to the doctor this morning to check on that pesky cyst that I have on my right ovary. And well, I'm not quite sure which one of you prayed that it would shrink, but that's exactly what happened! It has shrunk to half it's size from just a month ago, and the doctor told me that as of today, I should not need surgery (assuming it continues to shrink, it should go away naturally on it's own). She wants to see me again for another sonogram in 2 months, just to make sure it's gone.
Last month, when my doctor discovered the cyst, I asked her to not rush me into surgery that same week like she wanted to. I asked her to please give me more time to think about everything. And she did give me more time... And I just can't help but think about how differently things could have been right now, if I would have rushed into surgery that same week a month ago, and had that cyst removed and possibly had one of my ovaries removed in the process as well, not to mention the recovery I would have gone through afterwards... Just feeling very thankful for answered prayers right now! Thanks everyone, for keeping me in your prayers over this past month."
